Needs to be more like original paper planner
In the old days in Franklin School we were taught to use the daily notices to jot down everything while on the phone. Confirmation numbers, tracking numbers, etc. It was important stuff and took up half the open pages. The software makes this impossible to do. Its is buried and hard to use. There are many of use that dont use the calendar much so having a calendar that takes up 70% of the page us useless. I just need to check upcoming appointments. My day revolves around tasks and daily notes.

I love the paper planner. I don't love that I frequently get tasks that bounce my daily plans and I have to re-write everything again on the next day. And keeping notes is a must for me but the PlanPlus Online is not organized the same and is not intuitive. Give me a Franklin Planner Online that looks like the paper Franklin Planner where I can drag my changes around. That's what I was hoping for, but the view is not the same and isn't organized as well. I really tried, but I'm sorry, I just can't use it the way it is. Why is the notes section no longer on the home page? I really liked the software look from 2013, is that view still available? And how do I do full shading of a calendar event? I should start a list.

Yes Please! Let the user decide the size of the task area vs. the size of the calendar area. I'm an engineer, not a salesman. Allow me to portion the space between Tasks, Daily Notes and Calendar on the same page.
I often multitask 2 to 8 tasks at a time. Some tasks are dozens of steps and run weeks on end. I need to open a task, do something with it, update the notes then move to another task. Rinse and Repeat. -

Agreed. Most of my day also revolves around tasks and notes. The new layout is great but having the Daily Notes visible on the Main Page WITH, not in place of, Tasks. Split the space between the two. Add a scroll bar to Tasks and Notes if they exceed their allocated real estate.

I agree. I've been a Franklin Planner user since the 1980's. The Palm version was the best handheld app. Since then it got too complicated. After a year of suffering through PlanPlus' non-working Android app, I recently switched to ZZTasks. It only handles tasks and works across all platforms.
